Tanya Laing Gahr is a freelance writer/photographer as well as a public relations and communications consultant based in Cranbrook, B.C. For five years, Tanya was the senior writer for RVwest magazine, covering destinations throughout Western Canada, the Northern Territories and the western United States. She was also the resident adventure travel writer and adrenaline junkie, taking on thrilling outings such as sea kayaking among dolphins and sea lions in Southern California, ziplining through ancient cedars on Vancouver Island, paragliding along the Rocky Mountain Trench near Golden and whitewater rafting on the mighty Elk River near Fernie. She balances this with winery tours and spa days.
