An avid surfer, snorkeler, scuba diver and explorer, Desiree enjoys anything to do with the outdoors, particularly discovering the wonders of our planet and meeting the creatures that inhabit it. She started her writing career in Honolulu, Hawaii as a contributing writer for the Kapi'o Newspress, Kapio'lani Community College's student newspaper. Later, she progressed to become the news editor of the Capilano Courier, while studying for a diploma in tourism management at Capilano University. Over the past two years, Desiree has written a tourist book about Hawaii revealing how the Hawaiian ocean operates and what to know before going in the water.
