As BCATW's president, I'm enthusiastic about what our organization brings to travel writers in British Columbia. Simply listening to the variety of experiences from our members and learning about the expertise each one brings to the field, I am impressed at the depth of knowledge among us. Talking with various members of hospitality and travel associations, I also know that we are well-respected not just as travel writers, but as journalists, for our integrity, our curiosity and our commitment to providing quality information and entertainment to readers and viewers around the world.
Our articles have been published in hundreds of print and online publications; we have, between us, covered the globe dozens of times in our travels - from the Arctic to Antarctica; and we have written in every type of genre and style known.
