As newly elected president I’m fortunate to be part of a strong, enthusiastic board and with the backing of talented, avid committee members. Thus, we can look forward to 2009 as another exciting and productive year for BCATW. Striving together, we will continue to be the encouraging as well as enlightening association of B. C. travel writers and travel industry representatives.
Like presidents before me, I encourage new prospects to join our association as travel writers or industry members. For writers, our BCATW membership and press card eases your entry into the creative venture of travel writing. And, you’ll receive our monthly Buzz presenting colleagues’ inspirations and successful publications… Of course you’ll also have opportunities to network with fellow word-smiths… The premier event, the BCTWA Symposium is being planned for early May of 2009. Hope to see you there!
