 The BC Association of Travel Writers is a non profit association duly constituted under the British Columbia Societies Act. Brief Mission Statement: Presenting a platform for BC-Based travel journalists to network together in the common cause of promoting the profession. As a group, and through travel industry contact, to support members in marketing their work. To maintain a policy of ethics, honesty and excellence of work. To adhere to a performance ethic whereby members will act in accordance with fair practice in dealing with the media and the industry. To uphold the principle of producing proper material for clients in return for complimentary courtesies and press trips offered by the industry. To meet deadlines and media industry standards in response to assignments from editors or publishers. Members to conduct themselves in keeping with appropriate courtesy and etiquette with regard to themselves, our association, our province and our country. Copyright
