Bert Ollivier’s travel career began in post WWII Toronto when he joined a travel agency as a junior. The agency expanded to become one of the largest travel conglomerates in North America. Ollivier eventually became the corporation’s president. He is a CTC emeritus (Certified Travel Counsellor) Canada and USA. Ollivier has been active in industry associations. He was president of the Ontario chapter of ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) and was a director on the ASTA board in New York. He was a founding member of the education committees of both ASTA and ACTA (Alliance of Canadian Travel Agents.) In 2008 he wrote a book – “Travel’s My Game.”
